The Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh has announced the UP Scholarship for the academic year 2025-26. This scholarship is available for students in:

  • Class 9–10 (Pre-Matric)
  • Class 11–12 (Post-Matric)
  • Post-Matric courses other than Intermediate

The online application window is as follows:

  • Pre-Matric and Post-Matric: 2nd July 2025 to 30th October 2025
  • Post-Matric Other Than Intermediate: 10th July 2025 to 20th December 2025

Students who wish to apply should carefully check the eligibility criteria, age requirements, and read the complete notification before submitting their application. Eligible candidates can apply online within the specified dates.

UP Scholarship 2025-26: Documents Required

Candidates must attach the following documents along with the hard copy of the online application form:

  • Marksheet of the last qualifying exam
  • Caste certificate
  • Income certificate
  • Bank passbook
  • Fee receipt
  • Annual non-refundable fee amount
  • Enrollment number
  • Aadhaar card number
  • Recent passport-size scanned photograph

Eligibility
Domicile
  • Only candidates who are residents of Uttar Pradesh and hold a UP domicile are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Pre-Matric (Class 9–10)
  • Class 9: Students must have passed Class 8 and be enrolled in Class 9.
  • Class 10: Students must have passed Class 9 and be enrolled in Class 10.
Post-Matric (Class 11–12)
  • Class 11: Students must have passed Class 10 and be enrolled in Class 11.
  • Class 12: Students must have passed Class 11 and be enrolled in Class 12.
